PPA3 - Picture Perfect Inspiration Challenge

The latest PPA challenge was to use the above photo from Pottery Barn Kids as inspiration for a card. The card below is what I created:




Stamps: Animal Crackers (113395) and Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370)
Paper: Green Galore (101768), Brilliant Blue (10021), Tempting Turquoise (102067), Real Red (102482) and Whisper White (100730)
Ink: Basic Black (101179), Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker (100071), So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker (105114) and Brilliant Blue Stampin' Write Marker (100057)
The Right Tools: Large Oval Punch (107305), Scallop Oval Punch (114889), SNAIL (104332), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), 2-Way Glue Pen (100425), Powder Pals (102197), Mat Pack (105826) and Paper-Piercing Tool (116631)
Finishing Touches: Stampin' Glitter - Dazzling Diamonds (102023) and Brads - Bold Brights (106957)

• Cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch base for your card out of Green Galore cardstock and set aside.
• Cut 1 x 4 inch strips out of Brilliant Blue and Tempting Turquoise cardstock and adhere to the base of your card using SNAIL.
• Cut out a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 piece of Real Red cardstock and set aside.
  
• On a 2 x 3 inch piece of Whisper White carstock stamp the image of the giraffe from the Animal Crackers stamp set. Use a Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write marker to ink the image, as you don't want to stamp the sentiment with it. Use the Brilliant Blue Stampin' Write marker to ink the eye of the giraffe on the stamp.
  
• Once you have stamped the image, use the Chocolate Chip, So Saffron and Brilliant Blue markers to color it in. The Brilliant Blue marker is used for the star in the giraffe's mouth.
• Next, use your 2-Way Glue Pen to color in the star and adhere the Dazzling Diamonds. REMEMBER: do not blow on the cardstock when it is covered with the Dazzling Diamonds. Simply hold the piece of cardstock over your small Powder Pal and gently tap the back of it to get the remaining glitter off of it.
  
• Once this is done, adhere the Whisper White cardstock to the piece of Real Red carstock you have set aside. Attach four Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of it and set aside.
• Next, you want to stamp your sentiment. Using "Happy Birthday" from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set...or any other sentiment of your choice, ink it with Basic Black ink and stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.
• Now, using your Large Oval punch, line up the punch around the sentiment and punch it out.
  
• Next, using a scrap piece of Real Red cardstock, use your Scallop Oval Punch to punch out a base for your sentiment
• Using your SNAIL, adhere the sentiment to the Oval Scallop piece of Real Red carstock and attach two Stampin' Dimensionals to the back and set aside.
• Now, you want to attach your image and your sentiment to your card. Remove the backings on the Stampin' Dimensionals and place where you like. I wanted to make this a fun card so I placed my image on an angle.
  
• Lastly, using your Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool, punch four holes in the bottom right hand corner of your card and insert one of each color of the Bold Bright Brads. You are done. Enjoy!
